Horry County, South Carolina businesses temporarily evacuated after gas leak

Two businesses were evacuated early Thursday morning after a gas leak.

Horry County Fire Rescue said that at 8:48 a.m. the agency was called to the 4000 block of River Oaks Drive for a reported gas odor.

HCFR temporarily evacuated the businesses, located the source of the leak, and are measuring, monitoring and ventilating the structure.
