Police: Two uninjured in Richmond plane crash — Richmond Police Department, Rhode Island

Two people apparently walked away from the crash of a small plane Wednesday morning on a road near Richmond's airport, police said.

A man and woman were in the single-engine, fixed wing Piper Cub aircraft that came to rest upright, but nose-down, on Heaton orchard Road.

At 11:51, first responders from the Richmond Carolina Fire Department, Richmond Police Department, Rhode Island State Police, Hope Valley Ambulance Corps, Charlestown Ambulance and other mutual aid agencies converged on the Richmond Airport at 23 Heaton Orchard Road.
