Suspect arrested in connection with deadly June 2026 shooting at Gresham apartment

GRESHAM, Ore. () — A suspect was arrested in connection with a deadly shooting at a Gresham apartment complex from late June 2026.

Portland Police officers arrested 28-year-old Marcell Trotter for the murder of 25-year-old D’Angelo Adams.

Adams was found dead at the Rockwood Village Apartments on June 29.

Investigators say Trotter was wanted for the killing and arrested during a traffic stop in East Portland on Monday, Sept. 7.
