Summerland Landfill to partially reopen following wildfire damage

The Summerland Landfill will partially reopen this week following damage from the Bald Range wildfire. On Wednesday, Sept. 9, some items will be accepted during regular operational hours.

Some items still cannot be accepted, and need to be taken instead to Campbell Mountain Landfill in Penticton: Work is underway to completely reopen the Summerland Landfill, and the district is grateful to the community for patience in the meantime.
