Juvenile girl from Rockingham County arrested for allegedly stabbing family member

ROCKINGHAM COUNTY, Va. () – A juvenile girl was arrested and charged after she allegedly stabbed a family member in Rockingham County on Saturday, Rockingham County Sheriff Bryan Hutcheson said in an email to .

The sheriff’s office responded to the 4500 block of Magnolia Ridge Drive in the Massanetta Springs area, where a 43-year-old woman had been stabbed during a domestic incident at her residence, Hutcheson said.

The woman was taken to UVA Hospital with serious and life-threatening injuries.

Rescue squads from both Rockingham County and Harrisonburg responded to the scene, and Hutcheson said latest details indicate the woman is still in the hospital but is in stable condition.
