Parwan Crash: Child Killed, Six Other Children Injured Near Melbourne

A child died and six other children were injured when a vehicle rolled over in Parwan, west of Melbourne, on Tuesday, September 8.+

The crash occurred near the intersection of Nerowie Road and Parwan-Exford Road around 4 p.m. Police said the child died at the scene despite attempts to revive them.

Another child was airlifted to hospital with critical injuries. Five other children were hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries, while a woman was taken to hospital for observation.

Ambulance helicopters and specialist paramedics responded. Police are investigating and have urged witnesses or anyone with dashcam or CCTV footage to contact Crime Stoppers.
