Adjacent Five-Storey Weak Structure Evacuated For Demolition

Following the building collapse in Delhi's Satyaniketan area, authorities have evacuated the adjacent five-storey building after severe structural damage and safety violations were detected.

Debris from the collapse damaged the ground wall of the neighbouring structure, leaving it vulnerable to further collapse.

Emergency personnel installed iron support pillars inside and outside the structure to stabilise the five floors and extended balconies.

Experts will oversee a phase-wise demolition of the unsafe building.
