HILTON HEAD, S.C. () — The Beaufort County Sheriff's Office is seeking the publics help in locating a missing 12-year-old who was reported missing on Hilton Head Island.

12-year-old Dominic Caruselle was reportedly last seen Monday morning in the Palmetto Dunes area, where he was visiting from upstate South Carolina.

Deputies state that there is an active concern for his safety and well-being.

Caruselle was reportedly last seen wearing a white shirt with gray shorts, a black hat and was warrying a black backpack.

Anyone who believes that they may have information on Caruselle's whereabouts is asked to call 911 or the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office non-emergency dispatch line at 843-524-2777 immediately.
