Auburn, New York Police find bloody knives, make arrest in stabbing investigation

AUBURN, New York — AUBURN, N.Y. — The Auburn Police Department arrested a suspect in connection with a stabbing investigation.

The police department said it charged Armando Demetrio-Solano, 34, of Auburn, with assault in the second degree, a felony, for stabbing a victim.

He was also charged with misdemeanor counts of criminal possession of a weapon and menacing for the incident.

The department said that around 2:41 a.m. on Sept. 6, officers were called to West Street for an "unknown trouble" complaint.
