Delhi police said in an update on Monday that one more person was pulled from the rubble overnight but was brought in dead, taking the toll to six, the Indian daily said.

Efforts are under way to trace those allegedly connected to the incident, police said.

The five-storey building, in South West Delhi's Satya Niketan, housed a boys' paying-guest accommodation near Delhi University's South Campus.
