USAF C-32A SAM934 Lands in Poland After Witkoff-Kushner Moscow Talks
A U.S. Air Force Boeing C-32A carrying Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner landed at Rzeszów-Jasionka Airport in Poland after departing Moscow, following high-level U.S.-Russia talks focused on efforts to end the war in Ukraine.
The aircraft, tail number 98-0002 and operating as SAM934, departed Moscow’s Vnukovo Airport shortly after midnight Sunday and landed in southeastern Poland roughly two hours later.
SAM934 Flew Helsinki to Moscow Before Poland
The U.S. government aircraft had earlier traveled to Moscow after stopping in Helsinki, Finland, bringing Witkoff and Kushner to Russia for negotiations with President Vladimir Putin.
Their meeting with Putin lasted about three hours and centered on Washington’s latest diplomatic effort aimed at finding a path toward ending the Russia-Ukraine war.
Rzeszów Airport Is Key Gateway to Ukraine
After leaving Moscow, SAM934 continued to Rzeszów-Jasionka International Airport, located in southeastern Poland near the Ukrainian border.
The airport has become a critical transportation and logistics hub since the start of the war, handling officials traveling to and from Ukraine as well as significant Western assistance destined for the country.
Witkoff and Kushner Expected in Kyiv
Witkoff and Kushner are expected to continue their diplomatic mission with talks in Kyiv, where meetings with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky are planned.
Their Moscow-to-Poland journey highlights the intense diplomatic activity surrounding the latest U.S. attempt to revive negotiations between Russia and Ukraine.
