Two kids die in California plane crash — Texas Monthly, Texas

TEXAS MONTHLY, Texas — Two children died and two adults were hospitalized with serious injuries after a small plane crashed in Fresno Saturday, authorities said.

The two adults remain in critical condition as of Saturday evening, Tony Botti, public information officer with the Fresno County Sheriff's Office, said.

The relationship between the four passengers was not immediately known, as law enforcement personnel await identification of the victims, he said.

Botti said firefighters and law enforcement responded to the plane crash just before 2 p.m. near the Sierra Sky Park Airport in northwest Fresno.
