Daniel V. Wanted Across Europe Over German Power Grid Sabotage

A Europe-wide search is underway for 48-year-old Daniel V., who is suspected of carrying out a series of sabotage attacks against electrical substations in Germany.

Police in Potsdam released photographs of the wanted man as authorities expanded their search beyond Germany.

Daniel V., from Gevelsberg in North Rhine-Westphalia, has not been located despite multiple police operations.

Substations Targeted in Two German States

The suspected attacks targeted electrical substations in Brandenburg and North Rhine-Westphalia, disrupting parts of Germany’s power infrastructure.

Investigators also examined additional suspicious devices discovered near substations and high-voltage power lines in other locations.

Claim of Responsibility Investigated

Authorities received letters signed with Daniel V.’s name that reportedly contained detailed information about the sabotage devices.

Investigators believe the letters may be authentic, but it remains unclear whether the suspect acted alone or received assistance.

Suspect Remains at Large

Special forces searched his registered home and later located a truck linked to him near Hambach Forest, but Daniel V. was not found.

Police are asking anyone with information about his location to contact authorities and avoid approaching him.
