A southbound D train struck and killed 41-year-old Moet McCullum late Thursday night It was not clear if the operator of the train that hit her had seen any warning flags or lights.
Moet McCullum was working underground on the tracks at the 161st Street-Yankee Stadium station Thursday, on what was supposed to be a routine night on the job.
The 41-year-old was a construction flagger, tasked with warning oncoming train operators of active work zones, according to the Transport Workers Union (TWU).
Around 11:30 p.m., a southbound D train struck and killed McCullum. It was not clear if the train operator saw any warning flags or lights.
