Police investigate an overnight stabbing in Beaumont, Texas

BEAUMONT, Texas — Beaumont Police are investigating an overnight stabbing that sent one man to the hospital.

Police were called to the 3700 block of East Lucas around 2:45 Friday morning after receiving a report of a stabbing victim.

BPD crime scene investigators could be seen searching the area for evidence and following a blood trail. Officials confirmed one person was taken to the hospital.

The extent of the victim’s injuries and what led to the incident are still unknown.
