Man shot in suspected drive-by shooting in Sacramento, California, police say

SACRAMENTO, California — A man was taken to the hospital after being shot at least once in a Sacramento neighborhood, police said.

Officers responded to reports of a shooting near Northgate Boulevard and Patio Avenue just before 6:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Police said they believe it was a drive-by shooting, but did not share why. The man was taken to the hospital in stable condition.
