Trial date set for man charged in 2025 downtown Fargo, North Dakota shooting death

FARGO, North Dakota — FARGO, N.D. (Valley News Live) – A trial date has been tentatively set for the man charged with murder in last year’s deadly shooting in downtown Fargo.

Jayvon Allen, 22, is currently scheduled to stand trial beginning Jan. 12, 2027, according to Cass County District Court records.

The felony jury trial is expected to run intermittently through Jan. 22, with trial days happening on Jan. 12-15 and Jan. 19-22.

A status conference and pretrial conference are set to happen before then, and the date could still change.
