Iran’s Revolutionary Guard Says It Struck U.S. Bases in Erbil, Iraq

Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps said it launched missiles and drones at U.S. military bases in Iraq’s Erbil province amid renewed regional escalation.
IRGC Claims Damage to Military Facilities
The Revolutionary Guard claimed that the strikes destroyed a maintenance center, warehouses containing technical equipment and a guidance system used for a U.S. surveillance balloon.
Damage and Casualties Not Confirmed
Neither U.S. nor Iraqi authorities immediately confirmed that the bases were hit or reported any casualties.
Separate reports said two drones flying toward the U.S. base at Erbil International Airport were intercepted. An official assessment of the attack remains awaited.
