Tornado Warning Issued for Glenmora, Forest Hill and McNary, Louisiana

A tornado warning is in effect for Glenmora, Forest Hill, McNary and surrounding areas in Louisiana until 12:30 p.m. CDT Tuesday.

Radar-Indicated Tornado Threat

The National Weather Service said rotation capable of producing a tornado was detected by radar. No hail is expected with the storm.

Around 4,100 people and three schools are located within the warned area.

Residents Urged to Seek Shelter

Residents should immediately move to a basement or an interior room on the lowest floor of a sturdy building, away from windows.

Anyone outdoors or traveling should seek secure shelter and avoid remaining inside vehicles or mobile homes.
