Officer-involved shooting in Downtown Fresno, California, parolee in critical condition

DOWNTOWN FRESNO, California — Part of Downtown Fresno is blocked early Tuesday morning after an officer-involved shooting.

The Fresno Police Department says officers first responded to a shot-spotter call just before 3 AM near Huntington Boulevard and Orchard Avenue.

When officers arrived, they saw a man with a gun and started to walk up to him.
