Police investigate shooting in Northeast, Rhode Island OKC neighborhood

NORTHEAST, Rhode Island — Police are investigating a shooting Tuesday morning in a northeast Oklahoma City neighborhood.

Police said they received a call shortly after 7:35 a.m. about a shooting near Northeast 16th Street and Rhode Island Avenue.

A woman told officers that she was on her porch when someone in a black car drove by and started yelling at her.

According to police, the woman claimed to have heard a loud noise and stated that she was shot.
