North Charleston, North Carolina shooting leaves 1 dead, 1 injured on neighborhood road

NORTH CHARLESTON — One person was killed and another injured in a shooting near an apartment complex during the night of Aug. 31.

North Charleston police responded to Dobson Street around 9 p.m. after receiving a call about a victim with multiple gunshot wounds.

Officers found the person injured near Dobson Place apartment units, according to NCPD spokesperson Harve Jacobs. The victim was transported to a hospital.
