Topeka man is in custody after Sunday stabbing on Massachusetts Street — Topeka, Kansas

LAWRENCE, Kansas — A Topeka, Kansas, man is in custody after a bar brawl ended with the stabbing death of a 20-year-old Kansas City man.
Police in Lawrence, Kansas, say 25-year-old Keisonn Smith Jr., of Topeka, is in custody Monday in connection with the Sunday morning stabbing on Massachusetts Street.
According to an LPD Facebook post, officers responded to a disturbance near Seventh Street and Massachusetts Street around 2:40 a.m. Sunday.
LPD officers found 20-year-old McMillin Tutu on the sidewalk with multiple stab wounds to the chest and abdomen.
