Davie County Sheriff’s Office investigating stabbing at Mocksville, North Carolina Food Lion

MOCKSVILLE, North Carolina — Authorities are investigating a stabbing at a Food Lion in Mocksville.

According to the Davie County Sheriff's Office, deputies are on scene at the grocery store on Valley Road.

Officials said the store is closed and the public is being asked to avoid the area.

Sheriff JD Hartman said a suspect is in custody and there is currently no threat to the public. This story will be updated as more information becomes available.
