Nepal flood death: The death toll from Wednesday's devastating flash floods in Nepal and along the border with China has risen to nearly 700, with around 3,000 people still missing, as rescue operations entered their fourth day.The combined toll in Nepal and Tibet, an autonomous region in China, rose to 691 dead and over 3,000 people missing after China's latest update on Sunday.

Chinese authorities reported 16 deaths and 546 people missing, while Nepal's disaster agency said late Saturday that the death toll had climbed to 675 with 2,498 people missing.
Poor weather and challenging terrain have hampered aerial rescue operations.In Nuwakot, one of the Nepali districts devastated by the floods, helicopters resumed operations before noon Saturday after poor weather temporarily obstructed their activities.
Some helicopters were loaded with boxes and bags of aid, including clothes, instant noodles, crackers and rice.
