21 shooting on Idaho Avenue will remain in custody pending trial after a district judge granted prosecutors’ motion for pretrial detention Thursday.
District Court Judge Conrad Perea found that the Third Judicial District Attorney’s Office proved Jerimiah Angel Castillo Zubiran poses a danger to the community and that no release conditions would reasonably ensure the safety of others.
Castillo Zubiran is charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and tampering with evidence.
