Minneapolis, Minnesota shooting leaves 1 man dead inside car: MPD

MINNEAPOLIS, Minnesota — A man has died after he was found with life-threatening gunshot wounds in the drivers seat of a car near 18th Ave. S, according to Minneapolis police.

Officers responded to the scene at about 3:20 a.m. after reports of gunfire and they began life-saving measures on the victim.

Police have not made any arrests and they are asking people with any information to come forward. After the shooting, officers secured the area and looked for evidence.

Homicide investigators are working to determine what led up to the shooting. The victim has not been identified yet.
