Dickson County, Tennessee: Officer-involved shooting Under Investigation

UNDER INVESTIGATION, Tennessee — Authorities are investigating a Dickson County incident. There was an officer-involved shooting at Hwy 48N and Little Bartons Creek Friday morning.

Officials have now closed off the north end of the county. Sheriff Eads asked the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation to take over the case as required by policy.

No interviews will be given at the scene. Authorities want people to stay clear of the area and expect the closure to last as the investigation continues.
