Bangor, Maine man indicted on attempted murder charge after stabbing

BANGOR, Maine — BANGOR, Maine (WABI) – A Penobscot County Grand Jury indicted a Bangor man on charges stemming from a stabbing in the city in June.
Abel Perez, 37, is charged with attempted murder, domestic violence assault, and theft by unauthorized taking. The stabbing happened at a home on Essex Street, police said.
One victim was taken to the hospital with critical injuries. Officials say Perez was arrested in New York days after the stabbing.
