Police investigating Wednesday night shooting in Dayton, Ohio

DAYTON, Ohio — Dayton police are investigating after a shooting was reported Wednesday night on Aug. 26.

Officers responded to the first block of Trenton Street around 9:45 p.m., according to Montgomery County Regional Dispatch.

One person was transported to the hospital, but additional information about their condition was not available, a sergeant said.

It’s not clear if a suspect has been identified or taken into custody.
