‘More than 1 person’ detained in Jeffersonville in connection to shooting near Louisville, Kentucky bus stop

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — More than one person was detained in southern Indiana in connection to a shooting near a Louisville bus stop Tuesday morning that left a teenage girl in critical condition.

Jeffersonville Police Chief Scott McVoy said "more than one" person was "detained," but did not say when they were detained, how many people were detained or provide any additional details.

In a statement Wednesday, Louisville Metro Police said the investigation into the shooting "remains active and is ongoing" as detectives from the Homicide Unit continue following leads.
