Five arrested after crash following traffic stop in Northeast DC, Washington

NORTHEAST WASHINGTON, Washington — Five men were arrested early Sunday after a vehicle fled from a traffic stop, struck a U.S. government vehicle and later crashed into a parked car in Northeast Washington, authorities said.
According to DC police, task force members initiated a traffic stop around 12:30 a.m. in the 4900 block of Benning Road Southeast.
Authorities said the vehicle fled after the stop and hit a U.S. government vehicle.
Task force members pursued the vehicle briefly before it crashed into a parked vehicle near Blaine Street and Benning Road Northeast.
