Second, Connecticut shooting in August at Bridgeport housing complex leaves man critical

SECOND, Connecticut — Bridgeport officials say a man is in critical condition after a second shooting at the P.T. Barnum Housing Complex.

The 34-year-old man was shot in his car and transported to the hospital where, according to officials, he received surgery for multiple gunshot wounds and listed in critical condition.

"The department received a ShotSpotter activation of 8 rounds fired at 5:42 pm. between Buildings 10 and 11 in P.T. Barnum," officials say.
