Elmira, New York shooting: Man Arrested

ELMIRA, New York — ELMIRA, NY — A 37-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a shooting earlier this month in which multiple rounds were fired from a vehicle while two children were inside.

Roberto A. Mejia, of Elmira, was arrested on Aug. 21 on a Chemung County Superior Court warrant.

Elmira Police Officers responded to the 400 block of Davis Street on Aug.

10 at approximately 12:31 p.m. following a Flock Raven acoustic gunshot detection activation indicating multiple gunshots.
