Tornado Warning Moves Toward Hartly, Delaware, and Sudlersville, Maryland, Until 6:15 PM EDT

SUDLERSVILLE, Md. — A tornado warning remains in effect for northwestern Kent County, Delaware, and northeastern Queen Anne’s County, Maryland, until 6:15 p.m. EDT Thursday.
Radar detected rotation moving east-northeast at approximately 28 mph. A tornado has not been confirmed on the ground.
Communities in the storm’s path
The warning includes Sudlersville, Templeville, Barclay and Roberts in Maryland, along with Hartly and Kenton in Delaware.
Residents in and near these communities should move immediately to a basement or an interior room on the lowest floor of a sturdy building.
Potential for serious damage
The storm could damage or destroy mobile homes and cause damage to roofs, windows and vehicles. Flying debris may be dangerous to anyone without adequate shelter.
People outdoors or in vehicles should seek a substantial building and remain away from windows until the warning expires.
