Officials ID 76-Year-Old Woman Killed In ANNAPOLIS: Latest Details

ANNAPOLIS, MD — Authorities on Thursday identified the woman killed after a single-family home collapsed in the Cape St. Claire area of Annapolis following an explosion. The Anne Arundel County Fire Department said Linda Synowczynski, 76, was pronounced dead at the scene after going into cardiac arrest.

Synowczynski had been on the driveway moments before the incident unfolded and was pulled from under debris by neighbors. The department has not yet officially identified the man found inside the home who was hospitalized at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center. The individual remains in critical condition.

Two other individuals — a neighbor and a police officer — suffered injuries at the scene. The AACFD said the neighbor was treated for exhaustion and the police officer was hospitalized for a non-life-threatening injury.
