East Los Angeles, California AutoZone Break-Ins: Authorities Release Images of 27 Suspects

EAST LOS ANGELES, California — Authorities are asking for the public’s help identifying 27 people in connection with two break-ins at an East Los Angeles AutoZone, where large groups entered the business during street takeovers and caused significant theft and damage.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department released images of 11 people linked to the August 8 break-in and 16 additional people linked to the August 9 incident.
The AutoZone, located on Atlantic Boulevard in East Los Angeles, was targeted twice within roughly 24 hours.
Store Ransacked During Street Takeovers
Authorities said large street takeovers were occurring nearby when groups entered the store and removed merchandise.
Video from the incidents showed numerous people inside and outside the business as merchandise was taken and the store suffered extensive damage.
Public Asked to Help Identify Suspects
Detectives are now seeking information from anyone who recognizes the individuals shown in the newly released images as the investigation continues.
