Nebraska and Wyoming Under the Watch

In Nebraska, the watch includes Banner, Box Butte, Cheyenne, Dawes, Kimball, Morrill, Scotts Bluff and Sioux counties.

In Wyoming, Goshen, Laramie, Niobrara and Platte counties are included.

Damaging Winds and Large Hail Possible

Forecasters said thunderstorms developing across the central High Plains could produce severe wind gusts and isolated large hail, with stronger storms capable of organizing into supercells or lines as they move eastward through the region this afternoon and evening.

Residents across the affected areas should closely monitor warnings as individual severe thunderstorms develop.
