Police-involved shooting under investigation in Aldan, Pennsylvania

ALDAN, Pa. — An investigation is underway following a police-involved shooting in Aldan, Delaware County, early Thursday morning.

The incident occurred at around 3:35 a.m. near Providence Road, just south of Clifton Avenue and Aldan Avenue.

Multiple police agencies responded to the scene, with South Clifton Avenue lined with patrol vehicles. Investigators also placed several evidence markers along Aldan Avenue, which has been closed to traffic.

Authorities have not yet released details about what led to the shooting or the number and extent of any injuries. The investigation remains ongoing.
