Armani Tyrell Waite identified as suspect in Glenolden, Pennsylvania Walmart shooting

GLENOLDEN, Pa. — Police have identified Armani Tyrell Waite as the suspect wanted in connection with the shooting inside a Walmart in Glenolden, Delaware County, Pennsylvania, and are continuing their search for him.
Waite is wanted on attempted murder and related charges after allegedly opening fire inside the store at approximately 7:30 p.m. on Friday, July 31.
According to investigators, the shooting began after two customers became involved in an argument, during which one of them allegedly pulled out a handgun and fired between five and 10 shots. A Walmart employee was struck once in the calf and was transported to a hospital. Police said the injury is not life-threatening, and the employee is expected to recover.
Witnesses said employees quickly moved customers to safety, with shoppers sheltering inside the store for about an hour after the gunfire. Police continue to search for Armani Tyrell Waite and urge anyone with information on his whereabouts to contact law enforcement immediately.
