Fermanagh Shooting: 2 Dead in Shocking Incident

Two people have died and two others were injured in a Fermanagh shooting that has shaken the quiet town of Maguiresbridge.

The Northern Ireland Ambulance Service confirmed that three emergency vehicles and an air ambulance responded to the scene. One patient was airlifted to the Royal Victoria Hospital in Belfast, while another was transported to South West Acute Hospital in Enniskillen by road.

Police have closed Drummeer Road and stated there is no ongoing threat to the public.

Democratic Unionist Party MLA Deborah Erskine urged the public not to speculate, noting the incident has “stunned the entire community.” Sinn Féin MP Pat Cullen also called the situation “tragic and shocking,” and extended her thoughts to the victims and their families.
