Ghislaine Maxwell Subpoena Approved by House Oversight Committee

The House Oversight Committee has officially approved a Ghislaine Maxwell subpoena, marking a major step in the congressional investigation into the Jeffrey Epstein scandal. The subpoena compels Maxwell to testify before Congress regarding her involvement and knowledge of Epstein’s activities.

This move comes as lawmakers intensify efforts to uncover the full scope of Epstein’s network, his connections to powerful individuals, and any lapses in oversight by authorities. The approval of the Ghislaine Maxwell subpoena was passed by a majority vote on Tuesday.
Committee Chair said, “The Ghislaine Maxwell subpoena is essential to getting the answers the American public deserves. We will pursue accountability wherever the facts lead.”
Ghislaine Maxwell is currently serving a 20-year sentence in a federal facility for her role in sex trafficking minors for Epstein. Despite past refusals to speak publicly or to Congress, the subpoena now gives legal grounds to require her cooperation.
Investigators believe Maxwell’s testimony could be key in exposing previously undisclosed names, relationships, and potential cover-ups related to the Epstein case.
