Hanna and Rebecca Lawrence: 8-Year-Old Twin Sisters Identified Among Texas Flood Victims

The family of Hanna and Rebecca Lawrence confirmed that the 8-year-old twin sisters tragically died in the devastating flooding that swept through Camp Mystic in central Texas over the Fourth of July weekend.

“Hanna and Rebecca brought so much joy to us, to their big sister Harper, and to so many others,” their father, John Lawrence, said in a statement.

The girls are among the more than two dozen campers and staff confirmed dead following record-breaking floods that overwhelmed the Guadalupe River area.

Rescue and recovery efforts continue, with several others still unaccounted for. Camp Mystic and the surrounding community remain in mourning as families await news of missing loved ones.
