Utah Man Fires on SWAT During Standoff, Claims to Have Killed Wife

A tense standoff is underway in Cache County, Utah, after a man opened fire on a SWAT team at his residence. The suspect reportedly claimed responsibility for killing his wife.

According to GephardtDaily, the man sent photos of a bomb vest and what appear to be explosives inside the home, raising serious safety concerns.

Authorities have evacuated nearby neighborhoods and issued a strict warning for residents to stay completely away from the area around 100 South and 400 West, as well as Main Street in Hyrum.

The situation remains active, and law enforcement continues to manage the standoff.
