Shooting Near Waterfront Metro Station in Southwest D.C

An adult male was shot at the intersection of 4th Street and M Street SW, outside the Waterfront Metro station, on Thursday evening. D.C. Police detained three individuals at the scene for questioning. The victim was transported to a nearby hospital; his condition remains undisclosed.

This incident adds to a series of recent shootings in the Southwest Waterfront area, including a February shooting involving a bystander during a robbery attempt at the same Metro station .The Washington Post
