Seven People Shot at Lakewood’s Harry Todd Park, Two in Critical Condition

Seven people were shot Wednesday evening at Harry Todd Park in Lakewood, Washington, according to the Lakewood Police Department (LPD).

The incident occurred shortly before 8 p.m., with police confirming the shooting took place near American Lake Park as well. Authorities reported that five of the victims were found within the park grounds, while the remaining two made their way to the hospital on their own.

As of now, the circumstances that led to the shooting remain unclear. The LPD stated that two of the victims, both males, are in critical condition.

No suspects have been taken into custody yet. Investigators are still working to determine whether the attack was targeted and if there was any prior connection between the shooter and the victims.
