UPDATE: 1 dead, 2 critically hurt in Mullins S.C. shooting that brings in SLED

MULLINS, S.C. (WBTW) — One person was killed Sunday night and two others critically hurt after a shooting in Mullins that led to state authorities being called in, officials said.

Officers were sent to the 100 block of East Dogwood Avenue around 6:45 p.m., the agency said in a Facebook post. When they arrived, one was pronounced dead at the scene.

The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division was called and is assisting. No further information was immediately provided. News13 reached out to Mullins Police Chief Phil Mostowski for more information.
