Residents in Ventura, California were ordered to evacuate their homes Sunday after authorities detected potentially dangerous levels of hydrocarbon vapors.
The evacuation affects homes along Bayshore Avenue, south of Peninsula Street and Marina Park.
First responders are currently on scene investigating the incident, and all residents are urged to avoid the area until it is deemed safe.
