Mooresville Schools officials said the discovery of an item accidentally left behind during police training prompted an e-learning day today
MOORESVILLE, Ind. — Mooresville Schools said an item accidentally left behind during police training Wednesday prompted an e-learning day Thursday.
Early Sept. 19, the district said in a social media statement that a “threatening situation” had prompted a remote learning day for students and teachers.
In an joint statement from the Mooresville Consolidated School Corporation and Morgan County Sheriff’s Office posted around 8:30 a.m., officials said an investigation determined that a suspicious item found on the Mooresville High School campus was “part of Wednesday overnight training from the Morgan County Sheriff’s Office.”
