Two NYPD cops were shot and wounded — including one hit in the chest — during a shootout in Brownsville this afternoon, law enforcement sources said.
Two suspects were also shot in the exchange of gunfire but the circumstances are not immediately clear.
One of the suspects was a woman who was reportedly struck in the head.
